Can Greek Cypriots Living Abroad Apply to the Immovable Property Commission (IPC) Without Travelling to Cyprus?
Are you a Greek Cypriot living in the UK, Australia, USA, Canada or elsewhere abroad with property in Northern Cyprus?
You may be able to submit an application to the Immovable Property Commission (IPC) without travelling to Cyprus.
Applying to the IPC from Abroad
Living overseas does not prevent eligible property owners from applying to the IPC.
By appointing a trusted relative in Cyprus or a representative from our law firm through a properly authorised Power of Attorney, the necessary procedures can be completed on your behalf.
Once the required documents have been prepared and properly certified, we can proceed with your IPC application without requiring your physical presence in Cyprus.
Our Experience with Overseas Applicants
At Sertbay Law Firm, we have extensive experience representing Greek Cypriot property owners living abroad.
Over the years, we have handled numerous IPC applications for clients residing in the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Canada and other countries.
We understand the practical difficulties of managing legal matters from overseas and aim to make the application process as straightforward as possible.
Visiting Cyprus for a Short Period?
If you prefer to visit Cyprus personally, we can arrange the necessary appointments and documentation in advance, with the aim of completing the required formalities and submitting your application during your visit, where possible.
For your convenience, we can also arrange to meet and collect you from the Ledra Street checkpoint in Nicosia, located just a short walk from our office.
